You would need a computer for this. Follow me as I explain these three simple steps.              

1.  Download and install Firefox

              2.  Install  youtube download add-on

              3.  Use the addon

Download and install Firefox

First, you have to install a browser on your machine, we’ll be using Mozilla Firefox. You can download it here >>> https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ Click the “Download Now” button to download.

Once it's downloaded, Locate the file:

1. From the download lists in your browser, which can be accessed by clicking “ctrl + j” on your keyboard.

2. By checking “Downloads” folder in your “File Explorer”

The name of the file should be “Firefox Installer.exe”

Double click on the file to install it. A screen should appear like the one below

Open it and something like this should come up. You have successfully installed Firefox on your computer!

Install  Youtube Download add-on

To download youtube videos, we need to install a software on firefox, this is referred to as an “addon” or “extension”.

To open the addon manager, Hold “Ctrl + Shift +A”

In the search box on the top right of the page, type “youtube” then click “enter” on your keyboard.

Click on the first search result which is “1-Click YouTube Video Download”

Click on “Add to FireFox”

Click on the “Add” button

Click on the “OK” button

Close Firefox and open it again.

How to use the addon

Go to youtube.com

Select your desired video, like you would normally do when you want to watch a video.

Notice a red button appears below the video, named “DOWNLOAD” click on it

You have several download options to click on. This determines the clarity and file format of the video. I usually go for MP4 720P or MP4 360P.

Click on your choice of option and Voila! Your video begins to download.

To locate the video simply follow the procedures in step 1 on how you located Firefox.
